TDL transmission oil
Texaco Multigear EP oils deliver value through: Improved durability — Specially formulated to stand up to the demands of severe service applications. Extended gear life — Extreme pressure properties protect hypoid and other types of gears from scuffing and wear under heavily loaded conditions. Long lubricant life — Outstanding thermal and oxidation stability allow high temperature operation with long lubricant life without the formation of sludge and deposits. All-weather protection — Multiviscosity characteristics assure proper gear lubrication at both low and high ambient temperatures. Corrosion and rust protection — Effective inhibitor package prevents rusting or corrosion of gears and bearings surfaces. Texaco Multigear EP oils are multipurpose lubricants.
They are made with:
Highly refined base stocks A carefully balanced additive package to provide maximum gear protection, long lubricant life and excellent field performance Sulfur-phosphorus extreme pressure additives that provide superior thermal and oxidation stability Rust and corrosion inhibitors, a foam inhibitor, and a pour point depressant The highly refined base stocks and various inhibitors in the additive package assure a well-balanced lubricant and long gear and bearing life with maximum durability. Texaco Multigear EP oils are recommended for use in all spiral bevel and hypoid differentials, power dividers, and oil-lubricated steering axle wheel bearings.
They are designed for complete refill and make-up of all passenger car, light duty and heavy duty truck transmissions, conventional differentials and steering gears.
Their multiviscosity characteristics allow their use in equipment operating over a broad ambient temperature range. This means good cold flow properties and gear protection.
Texaco Multigear EP oils meet the performance requirements of:
API Service Categories MT-1, GL-4, and GL-5 Are qualified for SAE J 2360 (formerly known as MIL-PRF-2105E) They also meet the requirements of: A Mack GO-J fluid Rockwell 0-76D (SAE 80W-90), 0-76-A (SAE 85W-140) Typical test data are average values only. Minor variations which do not affect product performance are to be expected in normal manufacturing.

|Flash Point (in C)||210|
|Pour Point (in C)||-30|
|Viscosity at 100C||14|
|Viscosity at 40C||133|
You may calculate the viscosity of the oil at various temperatures based on ASTM D341. This uses the two sets of calibration data that we already have in order to calculate the viscosity at any temperature. You may input multiple temperatures at once, seperated by comma.
